Idea
This is a regular scavenger hunt where players are given a list of items that they have to collect.
The twist with this is that because it’s for St Patrick’s Day, all the items they’re hunting for have to be green!
How To Play
Give all the players a copy of the list of items that they have to find and a pen to check off each item as they collect it. If you have a large group that’s going to be split into teams, you only need to give out one copy of the list and pen per team.
Make sure that they know that the items they find have to be green. Set a time they have to be completed by and a location to meet at, then send them off.
Alternative
If you’re doing this St Patrick’s Day activity with a youth group, depending on how many volunteers you have it may not be possible to drive them all around to find the items.
As an alternative, you could turn this into a photo scavenger hunt, whereby players take photos of the item instead of having to collect it. This can then be played at a mall, as this will give them more of an opportunity to find the different items.
Items
As the only requirement for this scavenger hunt is that they find green items, you could create a list consisting of anything. To save you time though, we’ve listed 20 different items below that you can use.
We’ve also produced a PDF of the list that you can download and print off for free – the link for this is also below.
